Not far from the metro station "Dmitrovskaya" you can find an interesting monument to the famous Russian processed cheese called "Friendship" ("Drujba" in Russian). The monument was installed close to Moscow Processed Cheese Factory "Karat" in 2005 and quickly became one of the most popular local sights. It consists of two main characters from the fable "The Fox and the Crow" written by Russia's best known fabulist Ivan Krylov, and a big piece of processed cheese. In 2008 some unkown people tried to steal the cheese, which is 200 kg in weight, from the monument, but could carry it only to the nearest yard. So the product was installed back to its place :)
Address: near the building 14c11, Rustaveli Street (metro station "Dmitrovskaya").
