The park Kolomenskoe is a perfect place to take a walk especially in spring. Bright spots of tulips and dandelions, a wonderful smell of lilac and bird cherry trees, decorative apiary, tender flowers of apple-trees, unusual shrubberies and many other natural masterpieces will take your breath away.
Also, the park has an interesting architectural ensemble. There is a famous Ascension Church there, which was built in 1528-1532, supposedly, by the Italian architect Pyotr Frantsizsk Gannibal (according to the Russian chronicles kept by P. Fryazin and P. Maliy).
