Festival "Colourful Sky" in Tsaritsyno on September 1 and 2

The next festival of kites called "Colourful Sky" will take place at Tsaritsynkie Ponds in Moscow on the first weekend of autumn, September 1 and 2. The event is organized by the Moscow club of kite-fanciers Prokite. Once again you will have an opportunity to have amazing time in the open air. All the participants of the festival will be able to create, launch or just admire colourful kites in the sky.

The program of the festival includes:

- the sky decorated by many beautiful kites;
- Garden of Wind (different installations on the ground: flags and ribbons);
- the kite-making masterclass for children of all ages;
- fights with traditional Japanese battle kites called rokkaku for all participants;
- special classes for everybody who would like to try to rule a professional sport kite;
- beautiful performance with sport kites, including the show by the single Russian flight group Red Alert, who took part in the World Sport Kite Championships in France in April 2012.

• Address: the field between Shipilovskiy Passage and Novotsaritsynkoe Highway.
• Getting there: you should get to Orekhovo Station by metro and go along the fence of Tsaritsyno museum and estate until you reach the checkpoint 11. Then you should cross the road and go deep into the apple orchard. In about 200 meters you will reach the place of the festival. It will take you 10 minutes from the metro station.
