V. V. Mayakovsky State Museum was founded in 1974 in the house, where the poet had lived from 1919 till 1930. It is located near the metro station “Lubyanka.” The museum is a true monument to Russian constructivism and that epoch. Its collection has come from the funds of Mayakovsky library-museum. The museum is quite unusual with its layout and bright embellishments.
Address: Lyubyanskiy passage, 3/6c4.
Working schedule: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, except Wednesday; 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday. It doesn’t work on the last Friday of each month.
Entrance fee: for Russian citizens - 100 rubles, for foreigners - 180 rubles.
