Double-Decker Sightseeing Buses in Moscow

Red double-decker buses appeared on the streets of Moscow at the end of August. They take standard routes around the historical center of the city. The project was created by a Spanish company City Sightseeing with assistance from the Moscow Committee for Tourism and Hotel Industry and Moscow Transport Department. The Spanish company is the biggest operator of double-decker tourist buses in the world. Moscow was the last European capital which did not have this service available for tourists in the past. The busses are equipped by the special audio system that offers excursions in 8 languages.

When we entered the bus, we received headphones and blankets, and took our seats. Even though I know Moscow very good, but I really enjoyed the trip and saw the city in a new way.

Passengers can hop on and off the buses, which currently offer commentary in English and Russian, as many times as they like.

• The price of a ticket: 600 rubles per day. 
• The double-decckers tour around Moscow according to the following schedule: every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the weekends and holidays. Also, the schedule includes night tours which begin at 19:30 and 20:00.
