Theatre is the main theme of Moscow street events this year. The Easter Gift festival, which will be held on 7–15 April, is no exception. Festival-goers will see performances staged by inclusive theatres.
Actors from six Moscow and six regional theatres (St Petersburg, Tomsk, Yakutsk, Cherepovets, Veliky Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod) will present 24 inclusive performances as part of the Golden Mask in the City programme. These performances will feature people with disabilities as well as professional actors. These are not just regular performances, but selected works: almost all of them were shown at the ProTeatr Russian festival of special theatres over the years.
Free performances will be held every day at four venues: Manezhnaya, Tverskaya and Revolyutsii squares and near 41 Profsoyuznaya Street.
There will be a concert and performance by the Anton Is Somewhere Here St Petersburg centre, the first creative, educational and social adaptation centre for adult people with autistic disorders in Russia, at 3 pm on 7 and 8 April on Manezhnaya Square.
