The Open Opera: A gala performance by opera stars in the Green Theatre at VDNH

On Saturday, 6 August 2016 at 20:00 in the Green Theatre at VDNH, the Open Opera gala performance will take place, where Moscow's leading opera house soloists will interpret the world masterpieces of classical music. Visitors will take pleasure in listening to the works of Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rossini, Donizetti, Mozart and Verdi.
The Green Theatre at VDNH is continuing its series of gala opera performances for the third year in a row. This year Russia's most charismatic conductor will be on the rostrum, Honoured Artist of Russia Felix Korobov, Artistic Director of the Moscow Academic Musical Theatre of K. Stanislavsky and I. Nemirovich-Danchenko.
Arias will be performed by the leading soloists of Moscow's opera houses.
The programme will include the most well-known and adored works of both Russian and international classical opera, including overtures and arias from the operas Ruslan and Ludmila, Eugene Onegin, Don Giovanni , The Barber of Seville, La Forza del Destino and Il Trovatore.
The greatest fragments from these operas are all in one concert!
