A huge radio telescope and a cemetery of pursuit planes

At the 26th kilometre of Shelkovskoe Highway not far the village Medvezhi Ozera, there is a center of space communication. On its territory you can find one of the four largest radio telescopes of the former USSR, built in 1983. The diameter of its antenna is 60 meters. In the past it was almost impossible to approach such an object without a special permission. But now anyone can come to the radio telescope through a big hole in the fence. For example, my friend and I could not only easily walk around the whole territory, saying hello to the service staff, but also climb up the construction and reach the very top of it.
