Not many people know about it for some reason, but there is a real fountain at one of the metro stations in Moscow (Rimskaya Station). When the Rimskaya Station was opened, the fountain was installed on the top of the first staircase leading to the exit to the city. But, unfortunately, the walls, the floor and the ceiling began to cover with moss. So they had to turn off the fountain.
Some time later the problem was solved. I've recently been to the station and was amazed to find the fountain working again. I don't know how it differs from its first version, but they solved the problem with moss and the water is flowing behind the columns and the children's figures.
It is the only fountain inside the Moscow metro.
